Jerry Glen Dalton
Jerry Glen Dalton, 69, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Jerry was born June 7, 1947 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Tinney Mae (Maness) and Charley Newton Dalton. He graduated from Ryan High School in 1966. He served his country in the United States Army serving in Viet Nam from 1966-1968. He worked for many years as a mechanic, working for Junior Lorentz and Bill Elliott and then on his own. He also worked for Halliburton and Sun Ray Refinery. He married Margaret Kimbro on May 7, 1987 in Ryan, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Ryan Church of Christ, American Legion, and the Ryan Volunteer Fire Department. He also enjoyed playing BINGO!
Jerry is survived by his children - Brian Dalton and wife Crystal, Tinny Spruill and husband Jason, Jerrida Copeland and husband Trey, Jeremy Dalton and husband Isidro, Richard Kimbro and wife Jamie, Terri Sheffield and husband Chuck, Randy Kimbro, and Timmy Kimbro and wife Trina, 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 sisters - Geneva Ritter and husband Jim, Goldie Cathey and husband James, Bobbie McDonald, and Margie Wise. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and 2 special friends Tammy Wallace and Jessica Taylor. He is also survived by his two very special sidekicks - Maggie and Sam,
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margaret, brother Charles, and sister Cleta Belle.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 26, 2017 at 1:00PM at the Ryan Church of Christ. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8PM with family receiving visitors from 6-7PM.
