Jerry Adam Burris was born April 8, 1986, in Turlock, California, to Jess L. and Carrie Redding Burris Sr. Jerry passed from this life Saturday, September 17, 2005, at the age of nineteen. He was a graduate of the 2004 class at Comanche High School. He worked for Richardson Auto Center as a mechanic for a while and was currenty employed by Wal-Mart.

Survivors include: his father Jess Burris, Sr., of Turlock, CA; his mother and step-father - Carrie and Al Doody; his brothers - Joe Casale, Jr., and Jess Burris, Jr., both of Modesto, CA; one step-brother - Al Doody, Jr., of Plymouth, IN; one sister - Vickie Thomas and her husband Bill, of New Bern, NC; and one step-sister - Connie Garn of IN.

Memorial services for Jerry were at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 22, 2005, at the Church of Hope and Faith with Pastor Hornbeck officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
