Jerrie Louise Goodin was born April 22, 1952 in Abilene, Texas to Ralph Jerry and Mildred Louise Watson Wood. Jerrie passed from this life Thursday, May 14, 2009 in Wichita Falls at the age of fifty-seven. Jerrie and Allen "Buddy"Goodin were married May 14, 1971 in Duncan, Oklahoma. She worked as a provider for Gentiva Health Care for many years. She was a member of the Addington Baptist Church, the Jaycee Jaynes, and a cub scout leader.
Jerrie is survived by her husband Buddy of thirty-eight years, father and stepmother - Ralph and Jessie Wood of Waurika, children - Johnny Wood of Waurika and Ulanda Robinson and husband Peat of Vernon, Texas, step brother - Dennis Schabram of Waurika, five granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Louise Wood.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00AM Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Addington Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Bernhardt and Rev. Gene Jorgenson officiating. Burial is in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Saturday from 10AM-6PM and Sunday from 1-5PM.
