Jeffrey Vaughn Rinker was born August 8, 1948, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Arthur and Juanita Kelly Rinker, and passed from this life Wednesday, March 27, 2002, west of Ryan, Oklahoma, at the age of 53.

Jeffrey served his country in the U.S. Navy from August 1966 to June 1968, and was a disabled Vietnam Veteran. He also worked in construction. He loved animals and enjoyed helping others in need.

Survivors include: his girlfriend - Brenda Horrell of the home; his mother - Jean Mineyard of Yukon, OK; one sister - Diane Lower of Oklahoma City, OK; three sons - Todd Rinker of Wichita Falls, TX, Derrick Rinker of Wichita Falls, TX, and Jason Rinker of Sacramento, CA; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father - Arthur Rinker, on December 25, 1971.

Graveside services were held Monday, April 1, 2002, at 3:00 PM, at the Sugden Cemetery. Burial was in the Sugden Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
