Jeffrey Jackson Hughes was born January 23, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio toGeorge and Alice Campbell Hughes. Jeff passed from this life Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Westbrook Nursing Home at the age of sixty-six. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked for the City of Waurika in the water department until his retirement in 2007.
He is survived by his special friends - Amanda and Danny Chism and daughter Josie, his stepfather William Coleman, three brothers - Roy Hughes, James Hughes, and Kent Hughes, four sisters - Beverly J. Carlile, Carol Coleman, Pat Lexa, and Linda Lesny.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Dale Hughes.
Memorial service for Jeff will be Monday, August 17, 2009 at 10:00AM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis Plant officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westbrook Nursing Home activity fund.
