Glenora Jean Smart passed from this life September 17, 2001, at the age of 74. She was born April 23, 1927, to Chester and Marie Spindle in Toledo, Washington. She married Robert Lee Smart on June 23, 1946, in Long Beach, California. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Terral.

She is survived by: her husband, Robert, of the home; one son - Billy Smart and his wife Jo, of Terral; one daughter - Jeri Landford and her husband, Leonard, of Terral; two brothers - Dennis Spindle and Butch Spindle, both of Washington; three sisters, Ella, Nancy, and Alice, all of Washington; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: one son - Robert Lee Smart, Jr.; one daughter - Connie Jean Melton; three brothers - Ronnie, Dick, and Gary; and one sister - Joanna.

Funeral services for Mrs. Smart were Wednesday, September 19, 2001, at the First Baptist Church in Terral, OK, at 10:00 AM, with Charles Parker and Steve Couch officiating. Burial was in the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Terral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association and/or the First Baptist Church in Terral.
