Laura Jean Jeannie Johnson

Laura Jean "Jeannie" Johnson was born October 16, 1946 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Hosey Earl and Nelda Nadine Smith Hood. She passed from this life Monday, October 29, 2012 at Jefferson County Hospital at the age of 66. She and Theodore Marvin "Sid" Johnson were married January 24, 1965 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Jeannie had several different jobs during her life including - waitressing, CNA, and bartending. She was a member of the Terral Assembly of God, the USBC Bowling Association and the Womens Auxillary.

She is survived by her husband Sid of the home in Ryan, children - Joey "Eli" Johnson and Beth, Marvin Johnson and wife Cheryl, Diann Prater and husband Jimmy, and John D. Johnson and wife Brenda, brothers - Jessie Hood and Tommy Doyal, grandchildren - Joshua Charmasson, Cody Rodriguez, Kendall Johnson, Leland Johnson, Laura Kay Rodriguez, and Leah Denham, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many other friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents - Hosey Hood, Jasper Dick Doyal and Nelda Doyal, siblings - Danny Earl, Arthur Lee, Jackie Albert, and Johnny, daughter - Brenda Cleo and grandson Christopher Thomas Rodriguez.

Funeral service will be Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 1:00PM at the Ryan Assembly of God with Rev. Floyd Key officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon - 8PM at the funeral home.
