Jarl Lee Frost, seventy-eight, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed from this life Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the Norman Veterans Center. He was born May 15, 1929, in Hastings, Oklahoma, to Lena and Holly Pleasant Frost. He married Laquetta King in 1955, in Waurika, Oklahoma, when he returned from Korea. They had three children. He later married Dorothy, also in Waurika, Oklahoma. Jarl grew up and graduated high school in Hastings, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waurika and worked as a machinist at Halliburton in Duncan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wesley, and two sisters - Neva and Audrey.

Survivors include: two sons - David Frost and his wife Della, and Eddie Frost and his wife Cheryl; one daughter - Angela and her husband David Alben; seven grandchildren - Julie and Jason Alben, Dayna and Alaina Frost, Robert and Daniel Hansen, and Crystal Perry; and three sisters - Joyce Bridges of Mount Ida, AR, Willie Jo Watson of Altos, OK, and Veriley Helen Nitz of El Cajon, CA.

Graveside services for Mr. Frost will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 28, 2007, at the Hastings Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Condolence messages may be sent to the family at www.dudleyfuneralhomes.com.
