James Fletcher Roberts

James Fletcher Roberts, 66, passed from this life Monday, September 5, 2016, in Waurika, Oklahoma. He was born September 27, 1949, in Waurika, Oklahoma, to James Stanley and Oriphia (Black) Roberts. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the Irving Baptist Church. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents James and Oriphia Roberts, his brother Walter Roberts, and his wife Tammy Roberts.

Survivors include: his wife Cheryl Sue Hanks of the home in Waurika; his daughter Christina Bloodworth of Talihina, OK; his sister Linda Whitsett of Waurika, OK; his son-in-law Tim Dennard of Waurika, OK; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many friends who will miss him.

The family will hold a memorial for James at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the Waurika Cemetery.
