James Louis Randell passed from this life on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at the Wadley Care Center in Purcell, Oklahoma, at the age of seventy-four. He was born May 29, 1932, in View, Texas, to Hubert and Fannie Elizabeth Horton Randell. He married Alice Randell in 1952, and had seven children. James worked in the oil field and also was a bricklayer. James also served his country in the Army.

Survivors include: five sons - Jerry Randell of Nocona, TX, Jim Randell of Sugden, OK, Richard Randell of Purcell, OK, Mike Randell of Duncan, OK, and Ed Randell of Waurika, OK; two daughters - Sandra McGough of AK, and Barbara Robert of Waurika, OK; one brother - Denzil Ray Randell; three sisters - Louise Jean, LaVoice Jean, and Shirey Ann; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brother Billy Joe.

Graveside Services for Mr. Randell were at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 14, 2006, at the Waurika Cemetery in Waurika, Oklahoma, with Don Hogan officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
