James Guy Bud McCullough

James Guy Bud McCullough passed from this life Tuesday, February 15, 2005, in his home at Meridian, Oklahoma, at the age of eighty-one. He was born October 9, 1914, in Addison, Texas, to John Ross and Willie McCullough. James and Ozell Boswell were united in marriage August 6, 1963, in Duncan, Oklahoma.

James served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Comanche, Oklahoma, and worked as a welder at Halliburton. He was also a member of the VFW.

Survivors include: his wive, Ozelle, of the home in Meridian, OK; three sons - Doug McCullough and his wife Carolyn of Wichita, KS, David McCullough and his wife Pam of Lewisville, TX, and Jim McCullough and his wife Janatha of Justin, TX; two daughters - Diane McCullough of Oklahoma City, OK, and Lori Sims and her husband Kevin, f Rockport, TX; one sister - Bessie Ruh Osborne of Dallas, TX; and six grandchildren - Chase Rivera, Ashley Sims, Kilee Sims, Gage Sims, Grace McCullough, and Paxton McCullough.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services for Mr. McCullough were at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Comanche, Oklahoma, with Ron Ogle officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
