Jacqueline Marie was born September 25, 1919, in Maud, Oklahoma, to Frances and Cora Christian Stone, and passed from this life Friday, November 28, 2003, at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of eighty-four.

Jacqueline and John Malcolm Mathews were united in marriage November 28, 1948, in Clovis, New Mexico.

Survivors include: her husband, John, of the home in Waurika, OK; one son, Mark Bumgarner of Tuttle, OK; two daughters Sue Taylor of Oklahoma City, OK, and Quintella Davenport of Slaton, TX; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alva Sheppard, of Post, TX.

She was preceded in death by one son, Joe Harrold.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mathews were at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Waurika with Pastor James Davenport officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
