Jacobo Julio Martinez, 29, of Hydro, Oklahoma, passed from this life Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was born August 16, 1986, in Waurika, Oklahoma, to German and Lionida Rodriguez Martinez. He was a 2006 graduate of Waurika High School. He worked as a farmer for Triple S Farms of Hydro. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Jacobo "Jacob" was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Otila Rodriguez, his grandfather Florentino Rodriguez, his sister Erlinda Smith, uncles Rudy Rodriguez, Junior Rodriguez, and Santos Rodriguez, and cousins Christopher Rodriguez and Alex Vasquez.
Survivors include: his grandmother Guadalupe Rodriguez, his mother Lily Martinez, his dad German Martinez, his siblings - Ricky Dominguez and his wife Diane, Julia Alcantar and her husband Javier, Eiffie Mendoza and her husband Abel, and Roger Martinez and his wife Deseray, many aunts and uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the San José Catholic Church in Ryan, Oklahoma. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A rosary service will be Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Roger Martinez, Ricky Dominguez, Abel Mendoza, Javier Alcantar, Adolfo Hernandez, Jr., and Filiberto Gomez.
