Jacob Maki Ashbrook was born March 6, 2005, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Misty Dawn Ashbrook. He passed from this life May 20, 2005, at the age of two months and fourteen days.

Survivors include: his mom - Misty, of the home in Addington, Oklahoma; his sister, Erin August Ashbrook; his grandparents - June and Raymond Wikel; and his great-grandparents - Homer Brantley and Essie Brackett.

Funeral services for Jacob were at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 23, 2005, at the Addington Baptist Church with Mike Bernhardt and Aaron Summers officiating. Burial was in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.

Pallbearers were Eli Ashbrook and Eldon McAdams.
