John L. "Jack" Behrens was born March 3, 1940 in Mansville, Oklahoma to Ruby Olds Behrens and Earl Behrens. Jack passed from this life Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Oklahoma City at the age of sixty-nine. He was an office manager. He and Patty Jean Headrick were married March 4, 1961 in Addington, Oklahoma. Jack was a member of the Addington Baptist Church and very active with the Baptist Church Disaster Relief.

Jack is survived by his wife Pat of the home, son - Kevin Behrens of Edmond, Oklahoma, daughter - LeAnn Behrens of Ft. Worth, Texas, three brothers - Frank Behrens of Tulsa, Darrell Behrens of Ft. Worth, and Carl Behrens of Addington, sisters - Earlene Webb of Addington Linda Holdsclaw of Guthrie, grandchildren - Duncan and Garrett Montague and Owen Behrens.

Six brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Memorial service will be 1:00PM on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Addington Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Jorgenson and Jason Ebenhack officiating. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 9AM-7PM with family receiving visitors from 5-7PM on Friday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alaska Youth Mission Trip (Addington Baptist Church) or the Oklahoma Baptist General Convention Disaster Relief Fund, 3800 N.
