Irene Lucinda Couffer
Irene Lucinda Couffer was born November 4, 1925 in Osage County, Oklahoma to Nathaniel and Hester "Morris" Wykel. She passed from this life Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Henrietta Care Center at the age of eighty-four. She was a homemaker. She and Leonard Couffer were united in marriage, he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children - Larry of Byers, Sherry, Terry Lee, Jimmy James, and Tammy all of Branson, MO. She is also survived by her sister Evelyn Cole of Byers and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and her dog Kissy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Lenny J.R. "Sonny" Couffer and six brothers and sisters.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10:00AM at the Byers Cemetery with Ronnie Lawson officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
