Ima Jewel Kirby, eighty-six, of Terral, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 27, 2003. She was born November 7, 1916, to Jim Ogle and Katherine in Newport, Texas. Mrs. Kirby was a homemaker. She and Robert L. Kirby were united in marriage on June 23, 1934, in Comanche, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1996.

Survivors include: one daughter - Jariece Fulton and her husband Donnie of Terral, OK; one brother - Jack Ogle of Borger, TX; three grandchildren - Angela Renea Spencer, Barry Joe Kirby, and Teresa Dale Weatherly; and six great-grandchildren - Lelia D. Ann, Raesha Rae Ann, Kirby David, Cody Dle, Daniel Ryan, and Katelyn Jariece.

She is preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law - Bobby Joe Kirby and Nella; three brothers - Willis, Clinton and Elbert, and one sister - Dora.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kirby were at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 30, 2003, at the Terral First Baptist Church with Gene Washburn and Charles Parker officiating. Burial was in the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Terral.
