Ida Mae "Dickerson" Givens
Ida Mae "Dickerson" Givens, 88, of Mustang, Oklahoma, passed from the life Saturday, September 5, 2015. She was born December 14, 1926, to Elmer and Maude "Garrison" Dickerson, in Hannah, Oklahoma. She and William Robert "Bob" Givens were married May 29, 1946, in Checotah, Oklahoma. She was co-owner of Brown Bros. Dry Goods, worked for the Ryan Public Schools and was Director of the Ryan Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ryan for more than sixty years where she taught Sunday school for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Maude Dickerson and her husband Bob Givens.
Survivors include: sister Jo Smith of Kingfisher, OK; sons Russell Givens and his wife Julia of Edmond, OK, Randy Givens and his wife Pattie of Murphy, TX, Reggie Givens and his wife Sharon of Mustang, OK, and Rob Givens and his wife Donna of Southlake, TX; grandchildren Lori and her husband Macy Lovett, Jason Givens and his wife Kyrsten, Justin Givens and his wife Vicki, Kylie and her husband Ryan Eaton, Zachary Givens and his wife Jessica, Julie and her husband Dan Wood, Joseph Givens and his wife Nadia, and Jaclyn and her husband Mitchell Marks; great-grandchildren Josh, Jarod, Seiya, Joshua, Jordan, Korbin, Jacob, Jalagi, Ryan, Leah, Noah, Maecy, Stella, Madison, Jude, Jett, Asher, Lane, Jacob, Cora, Dakota, and Blake; and great-great-grandchildren Annalynn, Connor and Jaden.
Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Givens at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 7, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Ryan, Oklahoma with Trey Smart officiating. Burial will follow in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jason Givens, Justin Givens, Zachary Givens, and Joseph Givens.
