Howard A. Willison

Howard A. Willison passed from this life March 13, 2007, at his home in Lancaster, Texas at the age of eighty-three. He was born on January 13, 1924, in Distant, Pennsylvania to Archer Cecil and Grace Hulda Bain Willison. He was in the Navy as a Seaman First Class in WWII. He and Margueriette Corky Stanford were united in marriage August 15, 1949, in Byers, Texas. He was a member of the Atoka Masonic Lodge and had worked as a quarry supervisor for Holnam, formerly Box Crow Cement Plant.

Survivors include: his wife Margueirette Corky Willison, of the home in Lancaster,TX; two sons - Jim Cecil of Lancaster, TX, and Howard A. Willison, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Lancaster,TX; two daughters - Susan Willison and her husband Danny Price of Palmyra, PA, and Paula Jane Willison of Lancaster, TX; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sandra Willison, and one brother, Leonard Willison.

Graveside services for Mr. Willison were at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 17, 2007, at the Waurika Cemetery in Waurika, Oklahoma, under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation was Friday, March 16, 2007, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday March 17, 2007, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
