Homer Rex Goza was born January 22, 1926, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to Mark and Ora Lee Goza. Mr. Goza passed from this life Thursday, October 14, 2004, in Ryan at the age of seventy-eight. Rex and Rebecca June Guthrie were united in marriage July 26, 1969, in Amarillo, Texas. He was a barber for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ryan.

Survivors include: his wife, Rebecca June Goza, of the home in Ryan, OK; one son Charles and his wife Ann Gilreath of College Station, TX; one sister, Jo Carrico of Loving, TX; and two granddaughters, Emily Wike and Erin Gilreath.

Funeral services for Mr. Goza were at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 16, 2004, at the First Baptist Church in Ryan with Gary Dempsey officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
