Hollis Ferguson Anderson was born December 12, 1911, in Abilene, Texas, to W.A. Willie and Emma George Ferguson. She passed from this life February 18, 2008, at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika, Oklahoma, at the age of ninety-six. She was a homemaker and a member of the Canyon Methodist Church.

Survivors include: two daughters - Frances Goldman of Locksburg, AR, and Nancy and her husband Jim Gibson of Waurika, OK; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, and one son Richard Anderson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Rev. Trevor Smith officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton, Texas under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
