Hillery Leon "Cadillac" Adams, 89, Waurika passed away March 1, 2011 in Henrietta, Texas.
Cadillac was born October 11, 1921 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Hillery Tecumseh and Mary Matilda (Wever) Adams. He lived with his grandparents until he joined the United States Navy. He served his country in World War II. Cadillac worked as a crane operator for many years until his failing eyesight made him unable to work. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing tunes by Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Gene Autry.

Cadillac leaves behind a host of friends and brother - Archie Cofer. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ray Adams. Cadillac was also a preceded in death by his great great great great grandfather - Daniel Boone.

Graveside service will be at 11:00AM Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Ryan Cemetery with David Wingfield officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
