Herbert Bud Monroe McKelroy passed from this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2002, in the Duncan Care Center at the age of 74. He was born July 25, 1927, to Herbert and Flora Cleona Shatswell McKelroy, in Oklahoma. Mr. McKelroy served in the Army and was a truck driver.

Survivors include: one brother - Jack McKelroy of Fredericksburg, TX; three sister - Corena Fremel of Prescott, AZ, Dayle Thomas of Medina, OK, and Lavada Bacom of Duncan, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Flora McKelroy.

Graveside services were held for Mr. McKelroy at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 10, 2002, in the Addington Cemetery with Randy Southerland officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Memorials may be made to the Duncan Hospice.
