Hazel Della Spivey passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2001, at the age of 87. She was born March 17, 1914, to Ray McColloch and Myrtle Gas McColloch in Waurika, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Spivey worked for the Halliburton Company as an office clerk for twenty-nine years and was a homemaker. She and Andrew Preston Spivey were married in June of 1948, in Waurika. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Waurika, a member of CWF, and Quilting Club.

Survivors include: one son, Sam Spivey and his wife Connie of Houston, TX; one sister, Joyce Stewart of Artisia, NM; grandchildren - Brandon Spivey, Katrice Volkert, and Taryn Gibbons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Andrew in 1996, one brother and one sister.

Services for Mrs. Spivey were at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2001, at the First Christian Church in Waurika with Curtis Plant officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
