Hazel Joy Davis died Thursday, October 19, 2005, in the Wilkins Nursing Center in Duncan, Oklahoma, at the age of sixty-five. She was born March 7, 1940, in Albion, Nebraska, to Bonnie Lee and C.E. Boyd. Hazel married Jerry Wayne Davis December 4, 1968, in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: one son - Burk Wayne Davis of Duncan, OK; three daughters - Danna Sue Enderle of Altus, OK, Sherry Moore of Norman, OK, and Darla Ann Spurlock of Duncan, OK; one step-daughter - Sonya Stapp of Duncan, OK; four sisters - Gay Dalh, Merrily Maddox, Ruby Sawyer, and DD Glee Cope; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Davis, in 1996.

A memorial service for Mrs. Davis was held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 21, 2005, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche, Oklahoma with Gary Anderson officiating.
