Hattie Morene Franklin
Hattie Morene "Anderson" Franklin, 91, passed from this life March 10, 2015, at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika, Oklahoma. She was born October 15, 1923, in Ringling, Oklahoma, to Omer Paul and Kate Cornelie "Murphy" Anderson.
She was married to Charles Franklin on December 25, 1952, in Vernon, Texas. She was a nurses aide with Goode Home Health and at Reagan County Hospital in Big Lake, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Addington, Oklahoma. She loved to crochet.
Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, one brother and seven sisters.
She is survived by her son Dewayne Franklin and his wife Glenda from Burkburnett, TX, and one brother, Max Anderson of Duncan, OK.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika, Oklahoma, with Mike Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Waurika Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM with the family in attendance from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Mike Bates, Kenny Morgan, Larry Null, Jim Breitigan, Jim Mays, and Kelvin Whitsett.
