Harvey Williams was born May 5, 1925 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Pearl Clark and Cecil Scott Williams. Harvey passed from this life Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Jefferson County Hospital in Waurika at the age of eighty-three. He was a welder for many years and a member of the Ryan and Sugden communities for over twenty-two years. He served his country in the United States Army. He and Wanda were married in Gainesville, Texas in 1973. She preceded him in death in 1999.
He is survived by Bertha Welch of the home in Ryan and sister Rosa Hicks of Ryan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda, two brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 1:30PM at the Sugden Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Plant officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Visitation will be Monday from 10AM-4PM and Tuesday from 10AM-7PM at the Ryan Funeral Home (612 Washington).
