Harriet Sallie Hathaway was born December 24, 1918, in Loco, Oklahoma, to T.C. and Stella Mullins Wilson. She passed from this life Thursday, September 12, 2002, in the Jefferson County Hospital at the age of eighty-three. Harriet and George Glen Hathaway were married in 1059 in Wichita, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1980. Harriet was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waurika, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: one sister - Mary Jean Wickware of Oklahoma City, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 14, 2002, at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche with Chris Brown officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
