Harold David Snake Vinson passed from this life Monday, September 20, 2004 at the age of sixty-five, at his home in Waurika, Oklahoma. He was born May 11, 1939 to Charley and Mary E. Vinson in Allen, Oklahoma. Mr. Vinson operated the Waurika Golf Course. He and Gloria Fern Manning were united in marriage January 28, 1967. He attended the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Fern Vinson, of the home in Waurika, OK; one daughter, Codi Vinson, of Oklahoma City, OK; three sisters, Polly Neal of Las Molinas, CA, Charline Hancock of Lagarto , TX, and Sharon Rankins of Shawnee, OK; and three grandchildren, Cammie Loehr, Melina Vinson, and Gunnar Vinson.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charley and Mary Vinson, and one brother, Tommy Vinson.

A memorial service for Mr. Vinson was held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 24, 2004, at Waurika First Assembly of God with Kelly Martin officiating. The graveside service was at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 25, 2004, in Allen Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
