Hanford Bartley Reynolds passed from this life Wednesday, September 18, 2002, at the age of seventy-eight. He was born October 12, 1923, to Thomas and Jenny Mable Reynolds, in Comanche, Oklahoma. Mr. Reynolds was a farmer and loved to play dominoes. He was a fifty-year member of the American Legion. He and Brownie were united in marriage on December 12, 1946, in Waurika, Oklahoma.
Survivors include: his wife Brownie of the home in Comanche, OK; two sisters - Mattie Garton of Duncan, OK, and Alta Marsh of Ardmore, OK; three nephews - Keith Garton of New York, Richard Trantham of Duncan, OK, and Tommy Trantham of Duncan, OK; and one great-niece, Sonja Trantham, Duncan, OK.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Jenny Reynolds and one brother.
Funeral services were held for Mr. Reynolds at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 21, 2002, in the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche, Oklahoma with Bruce Humphries and Bob Pollock officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
