Hallie Alice Myers passed from this life Tuesday, October 5, 2004, in the Duncan Regional Hospital, at the age of eighty-three. Hallie was born December 4, 1920, in Comanche, Oklahoma, to Jim and Nell Lawson. She married Ray Myers November 9, 1936, in Comanche, Oklahoma, where they made their home. She was a member of the Patterson Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one son, Gary Myers of Richardson, TX; three daughters - Barbara Gray of Duncan, Ok, Pat Feuerhelm of Comanche, OK, and Peggy and her husband Jim Sanders of Comanche, OK; one sister, Junice Joyce Stephens of Oregon; seven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Myers, in 1970.

Funeral services for Mrs. Myers were at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 8, 2004, at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church with Ben Scott officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
