Hadgie Lillis Renz was born April 12, 1907, in Henrietta, Texas, to James Drewry and Martha Elizabeth White Allen. She passed from this life Friday, December7, 2007, at the Ryan Nursing Home at the age of one hundred. She moved to Oklahoma with her family at an early age and grew up in the Irving Community. On September 12, 1924, she married James Alfred Renz in Waurika, Oklahoma. She was a longtime resident of Ryan and member of the First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Renz was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - in 1994; her daughter LaVona Clary - December 17, 2005, and her brother Frank - October 30, 2007.

Survivors include: her son Charles Alfred Renz and his wife Dana of Sanger, TX; six granddaughters; one grandson; seven great-great-grandchildren; her brother Kelley Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Renz will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Ryan, Oklahoma, with Rev. Jason Vance officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Ryan.
