Guadalupe Tovar Maldonado, of Ryan, Oklahoma, passed from this life Sunday, July 21, 2003, at the age of sixty-nine. He was born January 16, 1934, in Tulia Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Pilar Tovar Maldonado and Pola Maldonado.

Survivors include: two sons - Guadalupe Tovar, Jr. of Mexico, and Asuncion Tovar of Ryan, OK; one daughter - Primitiva Tovar of Waurika, OK; four brothers - Martin Tovar, Pablo Tovar, Antonio Tovar, and Fidel Tovar; three sisters - Carolina Tovar, Camila Tovar, and Lucila Tovar; and four grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pilar and Pola Maldonado, and one brother Pilar Tovar.

Graveside services for Mr. Tovar were at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 23, 2003, in Terral Cemetery with Curtis Plant officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
