Grace Oklahoma Gamblin was born July 5, 1908, in Hastings, Oklahoma to W.F. and Willie Virginia Miller Johnson. She passed from this life Tuesday, February 7, 2006, at the Ryan Nursing Home at the age of ninety-seven. Grace graduated from Hastings High School and graduated from college in Edmond with a Masters in Elementary Education. She taught at various elementary schools. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the United Methodist Church in Waurika.

Survivors include: one son - Robert Gamblin of Hastings, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gamblin were at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2006, at the Waurika United Methodist Church with Trevor Smith officiating. Burial was in the Hastings Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
