Gordon Lacey was born October 19, 1929, in Barksdale, Texas, to Lynard and Laura May Lacey. He passed from this life Saturday, December 7, 2002, at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika, Oklahoma.

Mr. Lacey was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He retired in 1991. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country in the Korean Conflict. He and Joyce Johnson were married June 3, 1977, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: his wife, Joyce, of Atoka, OK; two brothers - Clayton Lacey of Lake Dallas, TX, and Doyal Lacey of Lewisville, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services for Mr. Lacey were at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2002, at the Ryan Assembly of God Church with Paul Ratliff officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
