Gordon King Gilchrist

Gordon King Gilchrist, 91, of Fort Payne, Alabama, passed from this life March 21, 2019. He was born June 1, 1927 to Troy and Tressie (King) Gilchrist in Ryan, Oklahoma. He spent his early childhood years in Ryan, Oklahoma and finished his high school career in Marlow, Oklahoma. He married Georgia Kae Stewart in 1966 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Gordon is preceded in death by: his wife Georgia; his brothers Billy, Archie and wife Virginia, and TA and wife Roberta; and his sister Laura Sue Whisenhunt.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Peggy Gilchrist and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2019, at the Ryan Cemetery in Ryan, Oklahoma, with Steve Spangler officiating. Visitation will be held the morning of the service from 10:00 AM to service time at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Ryan, Oklahoma.
