Glenda Ann Blackmon was born November 24, 1942, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to Mattie Ann Frazier and Luther Whitfield Bishop. Glenda passed from this life Saturday, August 30, 2003, in Bellevue Nursing Home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of sixty.

Survivors include: her children - Richard Charles Blackmon of Henrietta, TX, and Nancy Ann Allen of Comanche, OK; two brothers - L.W. Bishop, Jr. and Burley Dee Morris; six grandchildren - Mandy, Chelsi, and Amy Blackmon, Ricky Jr., Ella Mae, and Sheena Allen; and one great-grandchild, Joseph Clayton Keith Allen.

Memorial services for Mrs. Blackmon were at 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 7, 2003, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with I.W. Bishop officiating.
