Glen Brandon

Glen Brandon was born September 1, 1928, in Addington, Oklahoma to W.C. Bill and Ruth Mock Brandon. He passed from this life Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at the United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas at the age of seventy-six. He was a member of the Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and a deacon of the First Baptist church in Hastings, Oklahoma. Glen and Hazel Lorene Rater were married in July 14, 1962, in Hastings, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: his wife, Lorene, of the home in Hastings, OK; two sons - Chuck Dunn and his wife Jackie of Petrolia, TX, and Rex Dunn and his wife Tracie of Waurika, OK; one brother - Woodrow Brandon of Addington, OK; three grandchildren - Brandon Dunn, Jace Dunn and Kyote Dunn; two great-grandchildren - Laramie and Brendall Dunn; and several nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife Lorene of the home in Hastings.

He was preceded in death by parents W.D. Bill and Ruth Mock Brandon and I sister Geraldine and I great grandchild, Haley.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 26, 2005, at the Hastings Baptist Church with Duane Peters officiating. Burial will be in Hastings Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be from noon-6PM Wednesday and 9-8PM Thursday. Pallbearers will be Ivan Frost, Tenar Bohot, Carl Leseny, Mel Reid, Kenny Smith, and Orville Dykes. Honorary bearers will be the grandchildren. Memorials may be made to The Waurika Volunteer Fire Department.
