Gladyce Mae Fults Burden was born September 5, 1915 in Durant, Oklahoma to C.D. and Mary Elizabeth Savage Fults. She passed from this life Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Westbrook Nursing Home at the age of ninety five. Gladyce and Willie Mance Burden were married September 3, 1932 in Bryan County, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Jones Dry Goods store in Ryan for several years. She lived in Ryan with her husband Willie for approximately fifty years. Subsequent to Willie's death, she spent the next twenty-five years in the Ft. Worth, TX area, and worked as nanny part time while there. She was a member of the Ryan Baptist church and at one time taught Sunday school there.

Gladyce is survived by two sons - Jimmy L. Burden and wife Suzanne of Crowley, Texas and Larry M. Burden and wife Carol of Ingleside On The Bay, Texas, and two grandchildren - Leesa Burden Johnson and Amanda Burden Warr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willie, brothers H.T. Fults and R.L. Fults, and sisters Pearl Lemons, Nellie Phillips, and Lois Hancock.

Funeral service will be Friday, November 12, 2010 at 1:00PM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Ryan (612 Washington) with Rev. Jason Vance officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery.
