Gertrude Flotow was born July 14, 1922 in West Terre Haute, Indiana to Ralph and Catherine Davison. She passed from this life Monday, May 29, 2006 in Wilkins Nursing Center at the age of 83. She was a genealogist in the public library in Michigan City, Indiana for many years. She served her country in the United States Army in World War II.

She is survived by her son William R. Babbitt, Jr. of California and daughter Cher Jones of Waurika, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
