George Allen Bussey passed from this life on Thursday, May 9, 2002, in Lubbock, Texas, at the age of 41. He was born April 23, 1961, to Harvey and Marilyn Ann Bussey in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School and attended VRJC for two years. He and Elizabeth Suzetta were married on November 16, 2000, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. Bussey was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Wichita Falls.

Survivors include: his wife Elizabeth Bussey; one son Christopher Bussey; five brothers - Orval Bussey and his wife Debbie, Thomas Bussey and his wife Debbie; Billy Don Bussey, Harvey Bussey, and Ronald Bussey and his wife Kristi; four sisters - Louise Akin and her husband Alan, Sue Osborn and her husband Kenneth, Diane Aderholt and her husband Gene, and Katheryn Marley and her husband Tony; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Marilyn Bussey.

Graveside services were held for Mr. Bussey at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 13, 2002, in the Ryan Cemetery with Tommy Free officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
