Gale Sewell

Gale Sewell was born November 8, 1948 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Sidney Melvin "Jelly" and Lela Faye West Ellis. She passed from this life Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Jefferson County Hospital at the age of 63.

She and Larry Sewell were married Auguust 31, 1968 in Henrietta, Texas. She worked for Haggar Slacks in Temple and Bowie until the plants closed. She was retired but worked along side her sister at the Chandelier Club in Waurika. She also enjoyed fishing with her family, playing pool league, and being GiGi and Granny to her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons - Larry Michael "Mike" and Denise of Vallejo, California, James Mason "Jim" Sewell and Jackie of Ryan, Joe Bob Sewell and Cristi of Ryan, siblings - Butch Ellis and Sandy of Perry, OK, Sharon Campiche and Ronnie of Ryan, Donna Thompson and Ray of Chickasha, grandchildren - Joshua Ryan Sewell, Aaron Jacob Sewell, Larry Sewell, and Ethan Sewell.

Memorial service will be Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 1:00PM at Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
