Gadie Helen McDonald

Gadie Helen McDonald, of Terral, Oklahoma, passed from this life Saturday, February 19, 2005, in Jefferson County Hospital, at the age of ninety-two. Gadie was born in Marietta, Oklahoma, to Z.L. and Bertha Tanner on August 23, 1912. Gadie married Earl McDonald September 14, 1933, in Terral, Oklahoma. She and Earl lived in Terral where she was a homemaker, worked as a grocery store clerk in Terral, and also worked at the Ryan Nursing Home. They were members of the First Baptist Church in Terral. Earl preceded her in death August 10, 1998.

Survivors include: one son - Jack McDonald of Nocona, TX; tw daughers - Sue Brown of Bowie, TX, and Shirley Skelton of Amarillo, TX; two brothers - Charles Tanner of Pampa, TX, nd Royce Tanner of Terral, OK; and four sisters - Mary Lou Fenoglio of Ringgold, TX, Dorie Sewell of Henrietta, TX, Betty Williams of Terral, TX, and Opal; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Gadie was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, three brothers, and one grandson.

Funeral services for Mrs. McDonald were at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Terral with Bro. Walter Haynie and Bro. Charles Parker officiating. Burial was in the Terral cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Terral.
