Frank T. Frost, Jr., sixty-one, of Walters, Oklahoma, passed away on August 5, 2002, after a short bout with cancer. He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on April 6, 1941, to Lucille V. Frost and Frank T. Frost, Sr. After graduating from Geronimo High School, he entered the Navy for four years, then became a police officer on the Norman Police Department for several years before moving back to Geronimo. He eventually moved to Waurika and worked for Elliott's Mobile Home for many years before starting his own business in 1991 called Frost Sharpening.
Survivors include: his wife Earline Frost, of Walters, OK; three daughters - Lisa Fox of Austin, TX, Tina Fox of Des Moines, IA, and Sheri Daily of Waurika, OK; one son - Doug Frost of Burkburnett, TX; four sisters - Brenda Box of Noble, OK, Phyl Forney of Galveston, TX, Patricia Arp of Carrollton, GA, and Eva Beaurain of Oklahoma City, OK: one step-daughter - Holly Tollett; three step-sons - Jeff Welden, John Welden, and Jay Welden; eight grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
Graveside services were held for Mr. Frost at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2002, in the Waurika Cemetery with Bro. Clarence Mize officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Honorary pallbearers were Joshua Fox, Billy Daily, Jr., Jeff Welden, Travis Tollett, Darrell Beaver, and Chris Faucett.
