Francis J. Ware

Francis J. Ware was born in Woodford, Oklahoma to a family of five brothers and two sisters on September 12, 1918. She passed peacefully to her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 19, 2001.

She is survived by: her brother, Tom Kilcrease of Harlingen, TX; and daughter, JoAnn and Tommy Baker of Comanche, OK; two grandchildren - Bill and LaDawna Baker of Duncan, OK and David and Lori Baker of Dallas, TX; five great-grandchildren - Avery, Evan, Jeffery, Jillyn, and Taryn.

A daughter of the great state of Oklahoma, Francis served her country in the California shipyards during World War II, eventually returning to Oklahoma after the war. Francis was a proud and contributing member of the greatest generation in American history. Her selfless devotion to her family and friends served as a beacon of Christ's love to all who knew her. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

We shall not cease from exploration,
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive from where we started
And know the place for the first time.
--T.S. Eliot--
