Frances Margueritte Hargis, ninety-three, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life January 14, 2008, in Ryan, Oklahoma. She was born November 14, 1914, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to Leland Young Hargis and Ethyl Tyson Hargis. She lived on the family farm in the Irving Community of Oklahoma, worked at the Sale Barn in Waurika, the cotton gin, the 5&10 store in Waurika, and sold insurance. She was well-loved and will be missed by her nieces and nephew.

Survivors include: one nephew - Enoch Dawkins and his wife Frances of New Orleans, LA; two nieces - Luethyl and her husband Levi Price of Waco, TX, and Frances Ann and her husband John Wilson of Ft Worth, TX; several great nieces and nephews; and one cousin - L.G. Hargis and his wife Frances of the Irving Community.

Funeral services for Ms Hargis will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 19, 2008, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika, Oklahoma. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
