Frances Dodd was born March 11, 1933, in Temple, Oklahoma, to John and Pearlie Copeland Dodd, and passed from this life Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at the Meridian Nursing Home at the age of seventy.

Frances and Flora Mae Throneberry were united in marriage March 4, 1955, in Vernon, Texas. He was a farm hand and tree trimmer.

Survivors include: his wife, Flora, of the home in Comanche, OK; one son - David Dodd of Duncan, OK; three daughters - Mary Hefner of Frederick, OK, Ruby Davis of Comanche, OK, and Sandra Nunley; two brothers - Leon Dodd of Duncan, OK, and J.D. Dodd of Burkburnett, TX; one sister - Margaret Kimpton of Duncan, OK; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held for Mr. Dodd at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Temple Cemetery, under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
