Floyd Doil Park

Floyd Doil Park was born February 12, 1924, in Talihina, Oklahoma to Walter and Mollie Pyland Park. He passed from this life June 17, 2013, in Nocona, Texas at the age of 89.
He graduated from Waurika High School. He served his country in the United States Army. He married Eileen Janet Spears February 1, 1947, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He loved to fish and collect stamps, coins, knives, and watches. He was a member of the Ryan Church of Christ, American Legion, Chamber of Commerce, and a volunteer fire fighter. He was also an honorary member of the Ryan FFA. He taught many kids to swim and also coached little league baseball and softball. He was known as the penny man to all the kids in Ryan.
He is survived by his wife Eileen Park of the home, daughters - Susan Tyler and husband Gary of Houston, Texas and Donna Reynolds and husband Doyle of Ryan, brothers - Dub Park and Harold "PeeWee" Park, grandchildren - Kimberly Tyler Atkinson, Spence Thomas Reynolds, Kelly Tyler McCarty, Kristy Tyler Goldman, Chance Jordan Reynolds, Chelsey Reynolds Elder, 9 great grandchildren and 2 on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Leroy.
Funeral service for Mr. Park will be Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 1:00PM at the Ryan Church of Christ with David Wingfield and Doyle Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Memorials may be made to the Ryan Church of Christ.
