Florentino R. Rodriguez
Florentino R. Rodriguez, 90, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life Sunday, July 26, 2015. He was born March 14, 1925, in San Saba, Texas, to Lorenso Rodriguez and Otilia Reyes. He was a farmer. He and Guadalupe Campoz were married May 25, 1947, in Lampasas, Texas. He was a member of the San José Catholic Church in Ryan, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Raymond Rodriguez, one sister Dominga Rodriguez, and three children - Florentino Rodriguez, Jr., Santos Rodriguez, and Rudy Rodriguez.
Survivors include: his wife Guadalupe "Lupe", of the home, children - Mary Villarreal, Lily Martinez, Elida Vasquez, Johnny Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez, and Lucy Ocampo; twenty-seven grandchildren; and thirty-eight great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild.
Funeral services for Mr. Rodriguez will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 30, 2015, at the San José Catholic Church in Ryan, Oklahoma with Father David Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Villarreal, Sergio Martinez, Edward Hernandez, James Rodriguez, Roger Martinez, and Ricky Dominguez. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.
