Floreine Lavon Massie was born October 5, 1940 in Poplar Grove, Illinois to James and Helen Jewell Kearn. She passed from this life Sunday, December 21, 2008 at her home in Ft. Worth at the age of sixty-eight. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by her children - Melba Fabel and husband Kevin of Ft. Worth, Texas, Myrna and husband Al Larson of Woodford, Wisconsin, Myra Sanchez of Oklahoma City, Everett and wife Leeanna Kramar of Thornberry, Texas, Melanie and husband Tommy Willis of Byers, Texas and Daniel and wife Kristie Massie of Byers, Texas, eight grandchildren - Shawn, David, Peggy, Dale, Kyle, Floreine, Kayla, and Haley; brothers Richard Kearn of Chanute, Kansas and Don and his wife Grace Kearn of So. Beloit, Illinois; sister - Thelma Collins of Chanute, Kansas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - W. H. Massie, brothers - Lloyd, Leland, and Johnny, and sister - Dorothy.
She had so many friends where ever she lived and a very special nurse, Dee Moon, of Dallas, Texas.
Funeral service will be Friday, December 26, 2008 at 1:00PM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Don Hogan officiating. Burial will be in the River Land Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas.
